panel-dkim-signing stage 2: OpenDKIM removed
test / test (push) Canceled after 0s
The panel's signer is the only one. Gone: the opendkim package and its
configuration, the syslog-relay and opendkim programs, /dev/log and
/run/opendkim, the reload by USR1 through supervisord
(internal/supervisor/supervisor.go), internal/syslogrelay, the port of
OpenDKIM's From: parser (internal/milter/mailparse.go and its probe,
harness and test/upstream scripts), OPENDKIM_SOCKET and OPENDKIM_DIR.
Keys: internal/domain/keys.go (Keys, NewKeys, DKIM_DIR=/data/dkim) keeps
the keys and writes a selector table, /data/dkim/selectors ("<name>
<selector>"), which the signer reads in place of the KeyTable - it reads
no database, as the sender check reads none. The table is written before
the signer serves (EnsureServerSigned moved there from the notifier).
Keys and table 0600, directories 0700, the panel's. The entrypoint copies
/data/opendkim/keys once, as the panel user, into /data/dkim.new renamed
when whole, and stops the start if the copy fails; /data/opendkim is left
for a rollback to 2.7.x.
Sender check: one RFC 5322 address as a mail program reads it, held
against the bindings; the 256-byte refusal and the texts naming OpenDKIM
go. Allowed() folded the domain through strings.ToLower, which makes the
Kelvin sign a "k" - the comparison with OpenDKIM's reading had hidden it;
it folds ASCII only now.
Health: two dkim-signer rows (applications, notifications) in Milter
sockets, opendkim out of the liveness set; the card no longer takes any
row with a note for the spam filter. Texts as in the design commit.
KILL stays in deploy/docker-compose.yml: measured on the test server,
root without it cannot signal a process of another uid - supervisord
stopping the panel, Postfix's master its children. The plan's "only use
was the reload" was wrong; the comment now gives the real uses.
e2e: one signature, the panel's, verified by dkimpy; the /data/dkim modes;
the OpenDKIM log and process checks, testNeverSignedForAnother and the
cited opendkim, libopendkim11 and libmilter1.0.1 go.

release: stamp the image with the release's version (audit H1)
test / test (push) Canceled after 0s
The e2e gate rebuilt selfpost:e2e through compose.override.yml with its
own VERSION=e2e, and that rebuild is the image release.yml pushed: every
published image printed "e2e", and the backup/restore version check
compared a backup's version with "e2e".
- compose.override.yml: VERSION: ${SELFPOST_E2E_VERSION:-e2e}.
- release.yml: the e2e step gets SELFPOST_E2E_VERSION = the release's
X.Y.Z; a new step before the push checks panel -version and
selfpost-backup -version of selfpost:e2e against it.
- e2e: image_stamped_with_version checks both binaries against
expectedVersion() (the variable, or "e2e" when unset).
- development.md, CHANGELOG [Unreleased], audit plan line ticked,
roadmap 1/61.
Evidence: make e2e on the test server for this tree with
SELFPOST_E2E_VERSION=2.4.2-stamp - exit 0, TestE2E/image_stamped_with_version
PASS, and `docker run --rm --entrypoint <bin> selfpost:e2e -version` prints
2.4.2-stamp for panel and selfpost-backup. GOOS=linux go vet in test/e2e
clean. Published images are left as they are.

release: 1.9.5: GHCR release fix: keep per-arch images, sweep orphaned versions (CI only)
test / test (push) Canceled after 0s
CI-only cut. The release workflow deleted the X.Y.Z-amd64 / X.Y.Z-arm64
package versions after the manifest merge; those versions are the images the
X.Y.Z manifest points at, so pulling 1.3.0 failed with a missing manifest.
No product code changes.
Fixed:
- release.yml: the per-arch tags stay in GHCR. GHCR cannot drop a tag
without deleting the image behind it.
- release.yml: the merge job now removes only untagged package versions
that no tagged manifest references (leftovers of publishing a version
again); any failed lookup aborts the step before anything is deleted.
- development.md release description and version table, image pin 1.9.5
in compose, README, guide.
Full detail: CHANGELOG.md (1.9.5).
