mixandClaude Opus 5.5 006bed7022 audit 4: DNS outages unknown, DMARC limits said, typed Health, one TLS mode per upstream
test / test (push) Canceled after 0s
M14, M15: queryEach gives each resolver 2 s within the check's context and
asks the one that answered last first; an address or PTR lookup not
answered is Unknown, an answered mismatch beside it still an error;
Checker.Server keeps the last answer's addresses, so SPF does not go Unknown
with it. Notifications report faults only, now tested with SPF unknown
alone and beside a wrong DKIM.

DMARC reports: tests of malformed XML, gzip and zip bombs, a message over
the limit, the service's Resync, hosted suggestion and validation. The
finding: both limits cut silently and an oversized report failed as
damaged; readAtMost refuses it for its size (MaxMessage 10 MiB, moved into
IngestMessage).

healthReadings replaces map[string]any for Health and Overview.

L5: an inbound upstream has one TLS mode - a second domain to the same
[host]:port with another mode is refused, naming the first; the TLS policy
map holds each next hop once.

Tested on the test server: go vet + go test of 25 packages, make e2e (all
pass, 631 s) on this tree.

mixandClaude Opus 5.5 50fd6b859f panel-notifications: the notifier, its mail and the server's own DKIM key
internal/notify applies the owner's rules. Each subject has a row of state,
so a thing is said once and a restart says nothing again:

- DNS of a sending domain: said after two hourly checks in a row found a
  record wrong, said to be over after two found it right. A lookup that did
  not answer moves nothing; a warning (no DMARC record) is not a subject.
- TLS certificate: at 14 days and at 3, per certificate.
- Queue: a message older than three days, once; once more when none is.
- Level-2 limit: from the rejected rows of the send log, every five minutes;
  at most once a day per domain and application.

Global users are told everything, domain users about their domains; one
message per recipient. With the instance switch off nothing is checked and no
state moves. A message that could not be handed to Postfix is tried again at
the next check.

Mail leaves by sendmail(1) as postmaster@<hostname>, addresses after "--",
no shell. For it to be believed the server's own name is signed like a
sending domain: domain.Service keeps a key for it and a line in OpenDKIM's
tables without a registry row, and non_smtpd_milters now names OpenDKIM. A
sending domain of the same name shares its key with the server.
dnscheck.ServerMail checks the name's DKIM and SPF records;
postfix.QueueMessages reads postqueue -j for arrival times.

The notifier is a sixth role of the panel process. Nothing in the panel
shows or switches it yet.

Checked on Windows: go vet clean; go test passes for notify, store, postfix,
dnscheck, cmd, and domain apart from TestWriteLoadPrivateKeyRoundtrip, which
fails there on file modes and always did. Not yet run in a container: whether
the unprivileged panel may submit is for the e2e step.

mix 656c4d4d7f release: 1.4.0: Optional inbound relay (backup-MX) on port 25
Optional inbound relay (backup-MX / forwarder) on port 25, off by default. Mail is accepted only for domains configured in the panel and forwarded to an upstream; there are still no mailboxes. A dedicated security review of the inbound path is still open on the plan (Fable).
Added:
  - `INBOUND_RELAY_ENABLE` (default `false`): when true, Postfix listens on
  - Panel **Inbound** pages (global administrator): domains, upstream host/port
  - Optional `INBOUND_ANTISPAM_MILTER` on the inbound listener only, plus
  - Inbound rate limit (`INBOUND_RATE_LIMIT_MESSAGES_PER_IP`, default 20) and
Changed:
  - Compose publishes host port 25 even when the flag is off (nothing listens
  - Full-backup restore Resync also rebuilds inbound maps when the flag is on.

Retry policy in the panel, persistent Postfix queue, and self-contained full backups. Mail queue and delivery history show this Postfix's first retry, backoff cap, and queue lifetime. Deferred mail survives container recreate. Full backups now archive `data/`, compose, `.env`, and `certs/`; the archive layout breaks 1.3.0 flat backups (unpack those with `tar xzf backup.tar.gz -C ./data` as before). Upgrading from 1.3.0 is a tag bump; no schema migration.

mix f62fe23826 release: 1.1.0: Domain-admin role and internal/web package split
The first MINOR after 1.0.0: send-only DMARC guidance in the panel, AGPL packaging on every page, and an internal split of `internal/web` ahead of domain-admin work. Upgrading runs one SQLite migration (empty defaults; existing DNS guidance is unchanged until you set a report address).
Changed:
